Honda 5 Time Green Car Winner

Honda has been awarded the Greenest Automobile award not once, not twice, not even three times. The Japanese auto maker was the lucky recipient of this green award Five Years in a row. The award was given thanks to the company's stride to lower greenhouse emissions and minimize smog output.

The average score from the Clean Vehicles Program suggests Honda's fleet is 14% cleaner than the average scores from the competition.

Honda Accord for 2011 Revealed

Guess what just came in at Diamond Honda of Puente Hills - 17525 E. Gale Ave. City of Industry, CA 91748 - The 2011 Honda Accord. The Accord is new for 2011, and receives significant enhancements that will attract Honda shoppers previously impressed with the Accord's styling, fuel economy and engineering.

2011's Honda Accord sedan and Coupe get revised grille inserts and simplified front bumper appearance. Accord sedan gains a new trunk lid with red horizontal reflector bars that span most of car's width. New tail lamps that relocate the clear, brake-light portion from the top of the lens to the bottom. New wheel designs are available for the sedan and for the six cylinder Coupes.

Fuel economy ratings for 2011 Honda Accord with the 2.4-liter four-cylinder are identical for the 177- and 190-horsepower versions. 

With the five-speed manual transmission, four-cylinder 2011 Accords improve by 1 mpg in city driving and 2 mpg on the highway to 23/33 mpg city/highway.  The five-speed automatic transmission, four-cylinder 2011 Accord sedans improve by 2 mpg in the city and by 3 mpg on the highway, to 23/34 mpg city/highway. With the five-speed automatic, four-cylinder 2011 Accord coupes improve by 1 mpg highway to rate 22/33 mpg. 

Automatic transmission is the only transmission option available for the V-6 sedan and for 2011 rate 20/30 mpg, an improvement of 1 mpg in both city and highway driving.  Mileage ratings for the V-6 2011 Accord coupes improve by 1 mpg in highway driving, to 17/26 mpg with the six-speed manual transmission and 19/29 with the five-speed automatic.

? Car and Driver's exclusive 10 Best Cars list. This vehicle comparison has included the Accord 24 times in 28 years.

? J. D. Power and Associates ranked the 2010 Accord Number One in its Initial Quality Study.

? Automotive Lease Guide named the 2010 Accord its Best Midsize Car for residual value.

? Kelly Blue Book cited the Accord as the Best Resale Value in Mid-Sized Cars.
